Frequently asked questions
How many children are in the group?
This group is capped at 6. Small enough that James can hear from every child, check their work as they go, and pick up quickly when someone has not understood something.
Can we try it before committing?
Yes. You can book a single trial lesson at the usual £29 rather than committing to a term, and decide afterwards.
Which lesson is the trial?
The group's next lesson, on Tue 8 September. You do not pick a date: the trial is simply the next session, so your child joins the group as it actually runs rather than sitting a one-off on their own.
Who teaches it?
Click 's name to see their qualifications, the subjects and exam boards they cover, their per-level rates and any reviews from other parents.
How and when am I billed?
£29 per lesson, billed monthly for the lessons falling in that month, never a whole term up front. Payment is taken securely through Stripe and you get an invoice each time.
What does my child need?
A device with a camera and microphone, and somewhere quiet to sit. We email the joining link before each lesson.
What is the minimum number of students?
2. Until a second child joins, the class cannot go ahead. Your child's place is held, nothing is charged for a lesson that does not happen, and we will email you the moment it reaches 2 people. If you change your mind in the meantime, that is absolutely fine.
What if my child misses a week?
Tell us as early as you can and we will let James know. We will pass on the slides and any work from that lesson so your child can catch up. Group lessons are not refunded for a missed week: your payment secures your child's place in the class, which is held for them whether they are there or not.
What if we want to stop?
You are not locked into a contract. Let us know and we will take your child off the group from the following month onwards.
